Aaah... glad to be drawing dragons again.

That first panel... I struggled with that one. Drew a perfectly good pencil drawing the first time around but it was lacking dramatic flair. I didn't want to erase it so I had to draw a brand new panel on a different sheet of paper and comp it (not a big deal as you can imagine). I'm pretty damn happy with the result though. Not too gory but pretty obvious what happened. Tasteful, yet dramatic.

Also, Leonid just cold decapitated Trencher. Because I'm still uncertain about the clarity of my art, let me explain: our friendly Dragon Rider, intentionally set his sword in a position where he could then brace it with his attacker's weapons and push his neck against the blade. Because Dragon Riders are like that; terrifying fighters.

And in news that should be no surprise to anyone; we will see Leonid again very soon.
