TadBooks

Support your favorite TadPool authors

If you're stumbling in here by accident or without context first let me say 'hi'. This page is an aggregate of various book projects from members of Frogpant's TadPool and their effort to get funded on Inkshares.

Inkshares is a crowdfunding platform for authors that allows them to get some visibility, raise capital for publications and if the goals are met, Inkshares takes care of the production, distribution and administrative portion of the publishing process. If you're going to be tossing a few dollars at some aspiring authors, please consider these below. Not only are you helping get a great project off the ground, you're part of making someone's dream come true.

If you're part of the TadPool and you'd like to be added to this list, just contact me and we'll make it happen. I'm campaigning for the community, not just myself.

How to support a book for free

If you sign up for an account on Inkshares, you will receive 5$ credit. Then, you can share a book campaign on social media through the site to get another 5$ credit (click here to see where the 'recommend' button is). It doesn't end there. For every book pre-ordered through the link you shared, you will get additional credits, allowing you to pre-order more books for free. These are not digital copies only. These are solid, physical, printed books.

About The Life Engineered 'The Life Engineered' is the story of a race of sentient robots called 'Capeks'. They are the decedents of humanity on both a physical and philosophical level. Before humanity disappeared from the galaxy, they left their children with the tools to build a utopia. That paradise is shattered when an important Capek is murdered leaving Dagir, a newly created robot to investigate the terrible act before the whole Capek race spirals into a civil war that could burn the Milky Way to proverbial ashes. With 'The Life Engineered', I strive to go back to a more optimistic view of the future. I look to artificial intelligence not as a threat to human survival but rather as a step towards a brighter future. Tropes are spun on their heads and classic concepts are cast under a new light, all the while concentrating on what I hope are compelling characters. Telling stories is what I both do best and enjoy most in life. Like many aspiring authors, I dream of being able to concentrate on writing, not for fame and fortune but because I want to tell all my stories. 'The Life Engineered' is not a work in progress. It is a finished book. By pledging to support it you're helping me reach a wider audience, improve the editing and most importantly, support the writing of a sequel.

About The Chronicles of Athalor: The Heart of the Deimos I'm CJ Boat, blogger, podcaster, and potential writer! I'm the owner and executive producer of the Geek I/O Media Network, at www.geek-io.net.  I have been playing around with this saga in my head since I was about 10 or 11, so almost 20 years now, and just really never had the nerve to try my hand at it. I have always wanted to write a book that felt like anime crossed with traditional fantasy books, and I think I finally found a voice to do this. I know that when some people read fantasy, they expect more Tokien-esque writing style, mine is more modern, and I think it has more of a Shadowrun style of writing as opposed to the traditional.   This book has everything for the reader to enjoy, mystery, love, guns, swords, magic, and a lot more. I'm already done with the first draft of the book, and am beginning the process of editing and adding more.
